Time Is Not Perfect — An Object Series
Time Is Not Perfect is a series of sculptural clocks exploring the tension between how we measure time and how we actually experience it.
For centuries, time has been represented through perfect circles and rigid systems—symbols of precision and control. Yet our experience of time is rarely that orderly. It stretches, compresses, pauses, and accelerates depending on the moments we live through.
Each clock in this series breaks away from the traditional circular form, replacing symmetry with organic, imperfect shapes. The result is a set of wall objects that challenge the visual language of timekeeping while still functioning as working clocks.
Rather than presenting time as something exact and predictable, Time Isn’t Perfect acknowledges the irregular, human nature of time itself.
Every piece is created by hand in the studio and is intended to exist both as a functional object and as a sculptural artwork for the wall.
